Here at Lovely Fitzgerald Photography I simply love photographing newborns! This past week, I had the pleasure of photographing 26 day old Rocco at his home in Arlington, Texas!
Typically I photograph newborns when they are 14 days or younger, so I was a little nervous when I heard that Rocco was going to be a bit older. However, after a little fussing, her did a great job. His 6 year old sister was more than happy to jump in with him when I asked her. I am sure she will be a huge help with Rocco! 🙂
Baby’s first few months comes with lots of milestones and changes! As both a mom and a photographer, I cannot stress enough how important it is to document these stages along the way. During the first few days together with your child you will be overwhelmed with love, but also sleep deprived, so it is important to think about setting up a newborn session before you deliver your sweet bundle of joy!
How it usually works is after you come home from the hospital and settle in, I come to your home and take portraits. For the best results, newborn photos are best done before baby reaches 14 days old.
If you are looking to capture those first few days of your child’s life or are looking for a way to announce your child’s birth, a great way to do this is to have newborn portraits taken and then create custom photo cards to send out as announcements. Friends and family will love getting these pictures of your little one and you will never regret having them!
If you are approaching your due date or are newly pregnant, please contact me and I would be happy to talk with you about setting up a newborn session to fit your wants and needs!
Another option, if you are still newly pregnant, is to book a Maternity Timeline package. With these sessions you will receive a 30 minute mini session every 4 weeks to track the progress of your growing belly. Your last session will be a 30 minute Mommy and Baby mini session with your newborn. Once your timeline is complete, you will receive a custom album displaying each stage of your pregnancy!
